Peter's Sickness[]

I just rewatched this episode today, and as far as I'm able to tell, it represents a major continuity gap. This seems so inexplicable to me, as the writers had already laid so much foreshadowing for what actually did happen in Peter's history, that it seems very strange that they would get the story wrong. Walter here says that he built the time-space travel machine in order to get a scientist from the past to cure Peter's disease. We know now that this is false. He instead built the parallel universe travel machine that he used to get the Peter from "over there" and bring him "back here". At first I figured that Walter was just lying to Peter and Olivia about what really happened, but then that doesn't make sense either, because then where did the teleporter machine come from? I can't think of how to reconcile this episode with the continuity revealed in season 2. Any thoughts? -- Ao-bōzu 青坊主 * Talk * Contributions

  • Any thoughts? -- personally, i would start by paying attention to the plot and then thinking a tiny amount. walter says he THINKS he was hiding the time machine in the banks. of course we now know that he had parts of his brain removed so he would forget things like that. he wasn't make a lie. it wasn't a continuity problem. he was only a few months out of the mental institute and fighting to recall stuff. -Robinabo 23:14, October 23, 2010 (UTC)

Olivia Goof?[]

When Olivia went to the VA hospital in DC she introducted herself as being with DHS instead of the FBI.  96.18.136.30 23:58, January 7, 2018 (UTC)
