James Carson is a Massive Dynamic employee and the guardian of Tyler 03, or Tyler Carson. He worked with Claus Penrose, experimenting with mind control and cloning. Carson also performed classified military work, working on designs, piloting software, and guidance systems. One such project inolved mind-controlled piloting. Tyler was seemingly kidnapped by two men, leading Carson to panic. In actuality, Tyler had staged the kidnapping in an attempt to reunite with his mother, whom James had said was dead. When questioned, Carson lied about his experiments with Tyler, claiming Tyler must have obtained samples of the pharmaceutical enhancements he had been working on at Massive Dynamic.
