Danielle Rose is from the Alternate Universe and the wife of Matthew Rose, with whom she has two sons. Her husband got trapped in an Amber quarantine zone while trying to warn his twin brother Joshua Rose that the Fringe division was on to his illegal activities.
Joshua has posed as his brother for four years, taking care of his sister-in-law and his two nephews, all the while trying to come up with a way to release his brother from the Amber. He finally manages to retrieve Matthew with the help of Mark Wilner, and brings him home to his family.
