    The End of Fringe: Recap

    January 21, 2013 by Gcheung28

For all of you who might have missed it (which is hard to believe), Fringe has finally ended! The season finale aired on January 18th, and it fortunately left us feeling mostly satisfied and fulfilled even though we were sad to see it end!

If you happened to miss the great end to Fringe, here is a recap. Careful! There are spoilers, so read at your own risk!

    • We were treated to seeing the Observers and the "loyalists" taste some of the horrible endings others went through in the first four years.
    • Viewers also got to go back to the "alternate universe" for a little while, and saw that Bolivia and Link had a family!
    • Donald died and Michael played a music box in a beautifully sad moment. Sad!
    • September wanted to walk off into the future with Michael, …

    Series Finale Predictions

    January 14, 2013 by Gcheung28

The day is almost here, Fringe fans! The 100th and final episode of Fringe will be airing on January 18th and then one of our favorite TV series will be over. Before getting weepy about the inevitable end, let's make our predictions about how things are going to end after five seasons for Peter Bishop, Olivia Dunham, and Walter Bishop!

    • Maybe they will turn back time to stop everything from happening? If they succeed, Observers never exist, September never distracts Walter, Peter never dies, etc.
    • More father-son bonding between Walter and Peter. We'll probably cry...
    • Someone is probably going to die, maybe Michael? It could also be Peter. In the promo, we see that he leaves a message for Olivia which seems like it could foreshadowing his disappearan…

So Season Five started off with a bang in the premiere, Transilience Thought Unifier Model-11!

In this new season, the year is 2036 and the overpowering Observers rule. The Fringe team - preserved in amber for 20 years - is now a rebel resistance team fighting for freedom. We see Peter Bishop reunited with his daughter Etta, and the gang is able to find Olivia Dunham! Unfortunately, Walter Bishop gets taken and interrogated, but he later gets saved. All in all, this premiere was sweet, sad, scary, and just everything rolled into one episode!

What did you think of the premiere? Share your thoughts and predictions for the season below!

Sadly, the fifth and final season of Fringe will be airing September 28, 2012 to February 1, 2013, but fans of the show obviously can re-watch all the episodes to their heart's desire! For people new to the show, do not fear- beginner's guide is here!!

Fringe is a science fiction television series co-created by J. J. Abrams, Alex Kurtzman, and Roberto Orci. The series deals with a research scientist named Walter Bishop (described as "Frankenstein mixed with Albert Einstein"), his son Peter Bishop, and an FBI agent, Olivia Dunham who brings them back together.

The show follows the exploits of the trio as they investigate aspects of reanimation, teletransportation, etc. (aka some real crazy cool stuff) as the Fringe Division, a task force focuse…

    Hey Fringe fans!

Look at this adorable piece of Fringe fan art we found! Inspired by pop-culture parody on Ben & Jerry ice cream such as Schweddy Balls from SNL and Miami Slice from Dexter, the newest Ben & Jerry flavor on the block is "Walter's Labs!"

Considering his penchant for milkshakes and food cravings, it's an awesome piece of tribute to Walter. The only thing missing from the picture is the list of ingredients and flavors.

    So here's our challenge:

If you could create your own ingredient list for "Walter's Labs," what would it be? Keep it creative and relative to Fringe, and we'd love to hear what you come up with!

    What science actually is

    November 13, 2011 by Fringenish

I' am a research student who is about to complete Masters in the field of Nanotechnology. Since my tender age I have been fond of the subject of science. Like everyone I used to wonder and argue about what science actually is. After watching Fringe uptil it's latest episode and realizing it's concept, my mind came up with an answer to that: "Some say science is art; some say it's philosophy and some say logic. Well I believe it's all the three and some more known as fringe, a phenomenon unexplainable until discovered."

Fringe world(s) as we know it is shattered. It can't be any clearer with this new promo art for Fringe Season 4. After an epic finale in which Peter literally disappeared from both worlds, we can't even imagine how Fringe will progress with this storyline. Can Walter cope without his son? Will Olivia remember?

This amazing promo art shows the three main characters shattered in their own worlds with a few of the Observers hidden in the shadows. What do you think this means, Fringe fans? Speculate away in the comments!

EW just released these phenomenal shots of the Fringe characters in a mysterious setting. Also included is Lincoln, who is now a series regular. What do you make of the bubble portal in the background?

    Fringe at Comic-Con

    July 12, 2011 by Kate.moon

    Hey fellow Fringe fans!

Will anyone be attending Comic-Con this year? Fringe will holding its panel on the busiest day of Comic-Con (Saturday) with its cast and producers.

To tempt you even further, Warner Brothers will be giving away some VERY cool Fringe swag bags! In line with the Fringe theme, the bag isn't all that it seems to be: it's also...a backpack! Not only that, but TV Line confirms that there will also be secret alternate-universe bags with a different design of course.

These will be available at check-in so don't dawdle! The alt-universe bags are extremely limited and highly coveted! We won't judge if you prefer Fauxlivia over Olivia bags.

Following the exciting news that Fox re-upped Fringe for a fourth season, the cast has put together a video to show their appreciation. And it's not Fox they are thanking- it's you!

Which is only too fitting because of course Fox (though certainly against their wishes) would have shelved the series were it not for the sheer passion of it's viewership, i.e. us!

Watch the video of sincere "thank you's" from Joshua Jackson, Anna Torv, John Noble, and Olivia Dunham, among others. Does this get you even more psyched for Fringe this Fall or what?

    Epic Fringe Finale

    May 2, 2011 by Kate.moon

Last Friday's Fringe was truly the show at some of its best. With the mythology of the First People to finding out about Sam Weiss, we got a huge dose of Fringe goodness. It was also thrilling to see Olivia's picture in the Key; it's a nice throwback to the picture of Sydney in another one of J.J Abram's show, Alias.

At the end of the episode, Peter went to some alternate universe/world which was neither Over Here nor Over There. What was it? Over Future! The Doomsday Device took him 15 years into the future where it looked like something had gone terribly awry. In next week's finale, guess who Peter will meet? A seasoned FBI agent not unlike his Olivia...Olivia's niece, Ella, fifteen years older! She's played by none other than Emily Meade…
